[ROM] How to Update LG G2 to Android Lollipop Official Stock Using Cooked Rom

Although the holders of a LG G2 international model D802 let's be one of the few users left update your terminals to Android Lollipop, the thing seems that it is practically falling and more when we already have ways to update manually through surprising and incredible cooked Roms based on the original Rom Stock posted on various Android development forums.

Files Needed to Update LG G2 to Android Lollipop Official Stock Using Cooked Rom

To install this sensational Cooked rom based on official Stock Lollipop firmware, we will only need download this compressed file in ZIP format and copy it to the internal memory of the LG G2 or via Pen Drive and USB OTG connection. To download the file, it will be enough to close the first window that appears and then click on the blue button and wait 30 secondsAfter that the download will start automatically.

Keep in mind that being a cooked Rom based on the official LG Stock, the ZIP file that we are going to download it has a weight of 1,6 Gb.

Once the file is downloaded, we copy it to the internal memory or to a pen drive connected via USB OTG and we proceed to follow the steps to flash the Rom on our LG G2 international model.

Rom flashing method

Once all the requirements explained here have been met and the ROM ZIP has been downloaded, We will restart in Recovery Mode and we will proceed to follow the flashing instructions to the letter that I will comment on below:

1. We click on the option Wipe, then advanced wipe and we mark everything except the sdcard or internal memory of the terminal. Cache, Data, System and Dalvik.
2. We go to the option install and we select the zip of the Rom and flash it by sliding the TWRP bar.
3. Reboot system now.

This is all friends, now it will only be enough that wait patiently for the terminal to restart and show us the new Android Lollipop configuration screen. Keep in mind that this first reboot usually takes much longer than normal because it is just installing the system and it is booting for the first time. If the terminal will stay on the boot or boot screen for more than 15 minutes, we would proceed to force a restart by holding down the Power button for about seven seconds.
