LG G2: How to Revert to a Stock Kit Kat or AOSP Rom from Android Lollipop

Relatively recently I showed you, in my humble opinion, the best way to update our LG G2 to Android Lollipop Stock. A way that passed by update LG G2 to Android Lollipop using a Rom cooked Android 5.0.2 Lollipop from the team evomagix.

Well, in the following post as a practical tutorial helped by an explanatory video, I am going to show you, due to multiple requests through the different social networks and comments to the blog, the correct way to revert to a Stock Kit Kat Rom or AOSP Cyanogenmod Rom like CM12.

Logically, this practical tutorial and the files shared here are those corresponding to the international model of the LG G2, better known as D802. So users of other LG G2 models should refrain from following what is explained here as the terminal could be bricked.

Having said that, let's start with the steps to follow to get back or downgrade our LG G2 from Android Lollipop to Android Kit Kat or Jelly Beam either through Stock Rom, original or cooked Rom based on LG Stock, or through AOSP Roms, that is, Cyanogenmod style roms, ParanoidAndroid, Pac-Rom etc, etc.

The files needed to be able Return LG G2 from Android Lollipop to Stock Rom or AOSP be it Kit Kat, Jelly Beam or even Android Lollipop through Cyanogenmod and similar AOSP Roms, go through the download of the original Jelly Beam Bootloader, the Baseband Kit Kat, as well as the Rom Stock or AOSP that we want to install on our LG G2.

From the following link, you will be able to download directly in a compressed zip package, the Jelly Beam bootloader as well as the Kit Kat Modem for the LG G2 model D802.

Finally, as expected, you will need the desired Rom to Downgrade your LG G2. Those of you who want to flash Android Lollipop using the Cyanogenmod 12 last nightly, which for me is without a doubt the one that gives the best user experience and fluidity to users of the LG G2 model D802, you can download it directly from the official Cyanogenmod website by clicking on this link. The one at the top of the list is the newest nightly.

If you opt for one Rom AOSP as Cyanogenmodo similar, you will also need to download the zip of the native Google applications, gapps Android Lollipop from this link.

In the attached video just above these lines I show you step by step the process of Downgrade from LG G2 Lollipop to Android Kit Kat, Jelly Beam or Android Lollipop using AOSP. A simple process that is limited to from Recovery TWRP itself in its latest available version, first flash the Jelly Beam Bootloader, then the Kit Kat Modem to finally flash the zip of the Rom to be installed on the LG G2. In the case of being an AOSP Rom like Cyanogenmod 12, which is the one that I personally recommend, we would also need to flash its corresponding Google GAPPS.
