Requirements to bear in mind
- Having a Samsung Galaxy S2 International Model GT-I9100 which must also be Rooted and in possession of the modified Recovery.
- This modified Recovery it must be the TWRP only and exclusively. From this link We teach you how to update your Recovery to its latest available version.
- Having a nadroid backup of the entire operating system kept safely.
- Copy of the EFS folder.
- Backup of all our applications and data.
- Have enabled the USB debugging from development options.

How to update Samsung Galaxy S2 to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
Once the necessary requirements have been met and being in the latest available version of TWRP Recovery, we restart in Recovery mode and follow these simple steps:
- We click on the option Wipe, then Advanced and we do all the Wipes except the one corresponding to the internal or external memory of the terminal, always depending on where we have the Zip files to flash the Rom hosted.
- We click on the option install and we flash the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Rom.
- We go back and from the option install this time we select the zip of the Gapps.
- Finally we click on wipe cache and dalvik y Reboot System Now.
