Hello. How good is the article on how to update the Galaxy S2 to Lollipop 5.1.1. I have a S4 Gt-i9500 with official Samsung Android 5.0.1 and I presume that this is the latest update from Samsung for this terminal. Will it be like this? Or do you think Samsung will do another update?

I believe that Samsung with the Galaxy S4 has reached this point, and luckily you have received official Lollipop.

      Greetings friend.

Well, there is no twrp for the i9100, which is the international galaxy s2, so our joy in a well, unless there is another compatible with this model, with which for now, waiting for new news, you can put cyanogenmod 12.1, a version released by the user lysergic acid, of xda
    all the best

Likewise, I do not know what invention of the manual is this that says that you must have the TWRP only and exclusively, I have been looking for the TWRP for the i5 for more than 9100 hours and it does not appear anywhere, nor versions prior to 2.8.6.0 which is the last one that has come out for models like the S4 i9505

Apparently there are users who comment that it has been updated successfully through CWM Recovery, try to flash the Rom from CWM and do not comment. Before remembering to do the nandroid backup from Recovery in case something goes wrong or it is not compatible.

      Greetings friend.

Well, seeing what I've seen, I think that this article can be closed, as not useful, unless there is an option to use another recovery, but what's more, I have seen the selection and devices of the rest, and in all of them there are the international versions and American s2, but not international, which is the one that interests

Greetings to all… I flashed the ROM with CWM in an S2 GT-I9100 and until now everything normal: the camera takes the photos in HD, the video recorder does it too; However, do not perform the operation in the way described in this Post but rather, follow the steps exactly as described in the Post update to Lollipop 5.0.1 for this same cell phone. On the other hand, the ROM runs very well but in times of demand it lags a bit and something that is very wrong is that I cannot block the phone; that is, the LOCK SCREEN menu (Settings + Security + Screen Lock) does not appear

Greetings to all! My phone gets super hot and the battery runs like water, does anyone know how I can solve this?
I would like to know if it is only my cell phone, is it a failure of my equipment or a manufacturing defect?

I have spent this weekend without NANDROID or anything at 5.1.1 with CWM. I had the stock version 4.1.2 Rooted and I tried to put CM11 and then CM 12 but there was no way to get the gapps or c-apps in about 20 attempts!, So I crushed everything with one of OMNIROM and the 5.1 gapps. Now it is going well although a little slow. It weighs on you. My TITANIUM PRO app back ups do not take them in batches or individually or by changing them to internal memory. The contacts had previously been uploaded to PERPETUAL.
It allows me to use certain apps that had been discontinued a few months ago for my terminal, such as smart tv control, and it is compatible, functional again.
When you are short of RAM, the Android Market window pops up that you have to close.
I'm going to have it on trial for a few days, and if it doesn't convince me, I'll reflash it and if it still doesn't win, I'll lower it to 4.4.4.

Hello, I make a query. I had the Cyanogenmod 12 Lollipop version installed. Update it to the new one from Cyanogenmod 13 Marshmallow. When I want to install the Gapps I get an error, that I have no memory. The cell phone can be used but I don't have the gapps. Any solution???

Hello, I have a galaxy s2 gt-19100 and the snapchat application among others are not compatible when I go to update software it tells me network error.
My question is: the only way to have these applications is by making this lollipop 5.1.1 update or is there another way to do it than by buying another mobile.
    Thank you
