On more than one occasion we have made it clear that Xiaomi MIUI is one of the best layers of customization. This is thanks to the stability of this interface, its speed and the various options that it puts on the table.
One of these is the game mode that it offers, which is responsible for optimizing the performance of the device to the point that they run in a better way. This comes under the name of Game Turbo and has a feature that helps us improve the Internet connection of games, something we will talk about next in this practical and simple tutorial.
Improve the Internet connection of games on Xiaomi and Redmi mobiles as well
We have already talked about Game Turbo on a past occasion, in which we explained how to configure it to add the games that are installed in the terminal, in order for them to present a greater fluidity, since this feature is responsible for prioritizing the execution of the games that the GPU and the processor carry out, over other common tasks or applications.
Game Turbo, within its settings, has an option called Bandwidth priority. This, as described, gives more bandwidth to games that are running in the background -and foreground-. This means that all those applications or services that require mobile data or any other type of Internet connection, although they will continue to have a connection, will no longer be the ones that receive the most, in order for the games to present a better link to the servers -in the case of titles like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile, for example-, among other things.
To access this option, simply find and open the Speed booster in games, which is the entrance to the Game Turbo mode in MIUI. Already within this section, we will come across all the games that have been added previously to Game Turbo ... The initial interface is the one shown in the following screenshot; In this we can also see what is the percentage of use of the graphics processor and the CPU of the respective mobile.
Now, a little lower than the upper left corner, right next to the "+" symbol that can be seen in the screenshot above, in the Settings logo, is where we have to access by just pressing it. There we are shown several options with switches next to each one, which can be activated and deactivated at your convenience.
The box that matters to us is Bandwidth priority, which is in fifth position, first in the segment of Performance mode. This is generally enabled by default, but not in all circumstances. So, in the case that it is deactivated, you simply have to press the switch until the internal ball of it passes from left to right and it turns blue, indicating that this function is already enabled and will be executed in everything. moment, whenever a game that is added to Game Turbo runs.
After having done all this, you do not have to perform these steps again, except that at some point you want to deactivate, something that we do not recommend if you want the best possible gaming experience, especially in titles that require a connection to Internet active at all times.
