During the last edition of the Mobile World Congress, ZTE surprised us by presenting its first mini-projector with Android, a device that won the award for "best consumer electronics device". And finally the ZTE Spro 2 arrives in Spain.

We were already curious when we saw it and after trying it, the truth is that it left us with quite good sensations. Let's remember that it is the The only portable projector on the market with a touch screen and WiFi connectivity, which will allow us to take full advantage of the possibilities of this mini-projector with Android. ZTE Spro 2 allows you to project any type of file, from Google Play applications, USB memories or using a micro SD card we can reproduce its content on the ZTE mini-projector. Another noteworthy detail is that we can take advantage of its HDMI output or its own WiFi connectivity to connect our mobile phone, tablet or laptop to the ZTE Spro 2 to play the content.

ZTE's new Android mini projector integrates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, in addition to an Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage expandable through its micro SD slot. The only one but comes with its Android version: the ZTE Spro 2 works with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, an old version of Google's operating system.

Highlight that allows you to connect up to 10 devices simultaneously through 4G LTE networks, supporting the reproduction of multimedia content and applications through Streaming. And we cannot forget its powerful 6.300 mAh battery that promises to provide the ZTE Spro 2 with more than enough autonomy to support all the hardware of this interesting mini android projector without getting messy.

In terms of projection quality, the ZTE Spro 2 is the only portable mini projector with the ability to project 120-inch images in 720p quality at 200 lumens, something fair if we compare it with other projectors, but enough for its intended use.

And it is that this mini-projector will not give you the expected result if you want to place it in your living room. But if you use it to work, since due to its size it is ideal to take it to presentations, or even to see some content in a timely manner, ZTE's solution is more than successful.

Not so much its price: initially we were told that it would cost between 400 and 500 euros. Nothing is further from the truth: ZTE has confirmed that the ZTE Spro 2 will cost 699 euros and it will be available for now through ZTE's own online store and in Movistar stores.
