Vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro +, the powerful new trio that boasts an innovative stabilization system

Vivo X50 series

Vivo has a new team of smartphones, which is made up of two mid-range and one high-end phones. These are the Vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro, mobiles that have a "gimball" stabilization system three hundred times more efficient than the current one - except for the first one.

The Chinese company has presented them in style, revealing the details of its features and technical specifications without a bit of everything it has to offer. We describe them in detail below.

All about the Vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro +

These three devices are very similar on an aesthetic level. In the front they consist of exactly the same design, while in the back is where things change, something that is due to their camera modules, which are different from those that we usually find today due to their aesthetics.

Despite having different qualities, they also share many others, and this is something that we now make clear.

Vivo X50

We will start by talking about Vivo X50, the most basic model of this trio. Its screen is AMOLED technology, something that is repeated in the X50 Pro and X50 Pro +, as well as a 6.57-inch diagonal and a FullHD + resolution of 2.376 x 1.080 pixels. This, in addition to having an integrated fingerprint reader, has a hole in the screen that is located in the upper left corner of the screen, as well as a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a feature that we also find in the Pro variant, but not on the Pro +, as it boasts a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The processor that gives power to the Vivo X50 is the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, eight-core chipset that was released in early December last year. This SoC is paired this time with a RAM of 8 GB and a storage space of 128 or 256 GB. The battery that powers it is 4.200 mAh capacity and has a 33-watt fast charge technology.

Its front camera is 32 MP, while the rear is led by a 48 MP sensor, which is accompanied by an 8 MP telephoto lens, an 8 MP wide-angle shooter, and a dedicated 13 MP camera for portrait mode.

There are also features like Wi-Fi 5, 5G connectivity thanks to the SoC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB-C port. The operating system that is driven by this model is Android 10 under the respective and latest version of the company's customization layer, which is Funtouch OS 10.

Vivo X50 Pro

Vivo's X50 Pro is not hugely different from the already described Vivo X50. In terms of screen -which in this case is curved-, processor, RAM options and storage space and cameras, there are no differences.

However, in this last section, which is the photographic one, we found a gimbal-type stabilization system that promises to be 300 times more efficient than current ones, thus originated by an optical sensor that is coupled with a two-axis system, according to what the manufacturer explains. This results in video shots with very little shake.

When it comes to battery, it grows a bit in this model, going from 4.200 mAh to 4.315 mAh, but not without discarding the 3-watt fast charge. Similarly, the connectivity options remain the same.

This device is a flagship. Therefore, it has characteristics and technical specifications superior to those of its two brothers, such as the Snapdragon 865, the eight-core chipset that powers it and is paired with an 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

The screen is exactly the same as the standard X50 Pro has, but this goes from offering 90 Hz refresh rate to 120 Hz, so it shows a noticeably superior graphics smoothness, something that is much more noticeable when compared to a 60 Hz panel.

The photographic system in this terminal is made up of a 50 MP main lens, while its other three sensors are the same as its other two brothers: an 8 MP telephoto lens, an 8 MP wide-angle shooter, and a dedicated 13 MP camera for portrait mode. Here, as you might expect, the advanced stabilization system is maintained.

The battery is also 4.315 mAh, but its fast charge increases to 44 W. Another thing that improves is the Wi-Fi, which is no longer version 5, but 6.
