Two news almost on the same day
Normally, the first rumors tend to fall as drops well separated in time, but having two news stories almost on the same day gives us pause. This time the new rumor comes from another source news such as @LlabTooFeR. LlabTooFeR is a well-known news leaker who has confirmed that HTC's two new Nexus smartphones will arrive with the codes T50 and T55.
The two new Nexus devices will have a 5-inch screen and the other a 5,5-inch screen, so we can assume that the 5-inch model is passed to the T50 while the 5,5-inch directly to the T55.
With an HTC that was commissioned to perform the first Nexus with the One in 2010, and a 9-inch tablet with the Nexus 9 in 2014, is preparing to try to return to the path lost in the last two years in which it has collected very poor sales figures. These two new Nexus must be the two terminals that get back the lost trust in this brand, where an HTC One M9 was left in borage water having serious overheating problems and a design equal to the previous M8. A confidence that the user will be able to have again if those two new Nexus come close to what is seen in the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in what are good specifications, a great design and, hopefully, a great price. I do not think that launching high-end terminals, even if they are Nexus, fix things, since we have a great series of mobiles from Samsung, Sony, Huawei, LG and many others that will make it very difficult.
Also, HTC has the Vive virtual reality device that it can be used to take oxygen in a new market that is opening up and in which it seems that it has found the right key thanks to those capabilities in the movement to be able to use it in an area of 4 × 4 meters. If you were already one of the pioneers in Android, surely in virtual reality you will show that you know very well to open your way in new worlds or markets.
