A few months ago, some users of the Galaxy S20 Ultra claimed that the screen of their terminal showed a greenish hue, a tonality that quickly it was fixed through an update. One more time this problem reappears, this time in the models that have just hit the market such as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S7.
The green screen problem it seems a general evil. A few days ago, Apple released an iOS update for the same, correcting the problem that some devices showed on their screens, a screen that showed a greenish hue when ambient lighting was minimal.
The green screen problem of the new Note 20 and Tab S7 is reproduced the same as on the iPhone, when the display illumination is at its minimum level. On this occasion and unlike the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the affected terminals are those that are managed by the Qualcomm processor, not by Samsung's Exynos.
If we take into account that many are the manufacturers whose terminals have experienced this problem (Google Pixel 4 and OnePlus 8 Pro), what is clear is that it is not due to a hardware problem, since a simple update solves the problem. Let's hope that Samsung is already working on the patch that solves this problem, a problem that does not affect all terminals and that only shows when the brightness level is low.
The green screen problem seems like has become a common problem in all the models that were launched at the end of last year and in 2020. Hopefully in the next generations this widespread problem will disappear once and for all.
