The update that fixes the green screen of the Galaxy S20 Ultra is now available

Samsung Galaxy S20 camera

Earlier this week, Samsung withdrew the latest software update it had released for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the flagship within the new S20 range, after several owners claimed that the screen on their terminals showed green tones in addition to other problems.

Unlike other occasions, from Samsung it seems that hastened to fix this problem, since it has just launched, although at the moment it is only available in Germany, the update that solves this problem with the screen of the Galaxy S20 Ultra, a problem that already  we informed you last week.

This new update, whose firmware number is G98xBXXU1ATD3 is already available in Germany, as I have commented in the previous paragraph, so It is a matter of hours before it reaches the rest of the countries where this model is being marketed. In the details of the update, it is only detailed that it solves the problem of the green screen, nothing more, no other function has been added, so the other problem that this model was experiencing, slow loading speed, is likely to continue without solving.

This problem has only occurred in terminals managed by Exynos 990 and not in Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865, so if your terminal is managed by this processor, you shouldn't worry. The screen showed a greenish tint only in some applications and when the screen refresh rate was set at 120 Hz and with the brightness below 30%.

As soon as this update is available in your country, you will receive the corresponding update, but if you do not want to wait for that to happen, you can check it manually through Settings> Software update> Download and install.
