The Asus Zenfone 4 will be presented at the end of July

In the smartphone sector, something similar to what happens in the field of television series, although before it was an almost cursed period, now it is witnessing some of the most interesting announcements, possibly having had enough time to distance itself from the news of giants such as Samsung or LG, but also take some advantage of Apple's media iPhone, which prefers to wait until September.

Thus, also the technology company Asus has chosen in summer period to present its long-awaited and rumored Asus Zenfone 4, the new flagship of the company that could arrive with a large 5,7-inch Quad HD screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution, up to 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

After many months of rumors, leaks and speculation (already during CES 2017 in Las Vegas held in the first days of January, details about this new smartphones were leaked), Asus CEO Jerry Shen, has confirmed to the Taiwanese website Digitimes that the first device of the Zenfone 4 family will be presented at the end of July. This date is a certain delay compared to the launch date of the previous Asus Zenfone 3 from last year since, in fact, it was expected to make its appearance during the Computex 2017 event, something that has not finally happened.

Although this delay will cost Asus some operational loss in the short term, it is expected that the improvements introduced will place the Asus Zenfone 4 in a more advantageous position compared to its large competitors, the rest of Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Oppo, Huawei or Xiaomi. among others.

The vast majority of details are still unknown or not officially confirmed, however, the 4-inch Asus Zenfone 5,5 is expected to arrive first, followed by other versions in the coming months. On the other hand, Jerry Shen has also confirmed that the Zenfone 5 will arrive early next year., during MWC 2018 in Barcelona, ​​so many customers may think twice before spending the $ 500 price that will go on sale in Taiwan.
