In the following article I want to share with all of you, a against for Samsung Galaxy S, model GT-I9000, nothing more and nothing less than the original launcher of the Samsung Galaxy S3 ported and optimized for our terminal.
Keep in mind that this Launcher is to install it from the Modified recovery, (Clockwork mod Recovery), so you will have to have your terminal rooted and with the aforementioned recovery installed, another of the necessary things, is that the rom in which you want to install it is based on the Nightly's by Cyanogenmod or in the AOKP builds, always in their versions Jelly Bean.
According to the creator of the original Launcher port of the S3, in the TouchWiz-UX everything works, and unlike others TouchWiz ported does not give forced closures or hangs or anything like that.
It has all the characteristics of its own Galaxy S3 Launcher optimized for Samsung Galaxy S, to the lock and unlock sounds and the icons of the famous Samsung launcher.
How to install it
To install it we will have to download the mod zip and flash it from the Recovery as if we flashed the Google Gapps or any application; Being flashable from Recovery will mean that the application will be anchored in the system itself as if it were an original part of the rom that we have installed, that is why it is necessary to make a Android Backup of our rom in case we want to return to the original state
Once the zip file is downloaded, we will copy it to the root of the sdcard internal and we will restart in recovery mode to proceed with the flashing of it:
- Backup and restore and we make a Backup of our entire system, this will help us to leave the terminal as we have it at this time, doing a restore of everything.
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- We select the zip of the TouchWiz Launcher and install it.
- Reboot system now
According to the creator of the mod, the first restart of the terminal can take up to fifteen minutes, so be patient and above all perform the flashing with the battery fully charged.

The bug is already biting me to install it ... but it is that I am doing so well with the Tsunami rom and the Apex Launcher that I really do not know what to do ... Will it eat more battery? The same launcher does not affect the battery, I do not know ... Francisco, have you installed it? First impressions? Thanks for your contributions, always so interesting.
No, I have not installed it, it happens to me like you,
is that now the Tsunami X2.0 works so well for me
I don't want to mess with it anymore.
If you decide to install it, do it first from the Recovery
a Nandroid Backup, in case you don't like it or you don't see it right
go back to how you have it now ah! and remember to comment your impressions with everyone.
Greetings friend

I couldn't help it, curiosity could. I am doing the backup right now from the recovery and then I will install it. By the way, in the Tsunami rom, from the TsunamiOTA you can download a launcher that is called something like this that you tell us and adds some of the weather. What differences are there between one and the other, could Francisco tell us?
Thank you
Well the truth is that I do not know, since I have not tried it.

Well, a great disappointment. I downloaded the file, backed up from recovery, and then installed it. I left it rebooting while it did other things. When it starts up, it asks me for the PIN, I put it in and it jumps on the screen to choose the launcher, among four, the two installed by the Tsunami ROM that Francisco Ruiz hung up two or three days ago, the Apex Launcher and the new one. I select the new one and… Twouch wiz app has stopped! It hasn't worked for me.
I start from the ROM Tsunami X 2.0, as is. I did everything as indicated, although I do not rule out that I could have made a mistake. At the moment I stay with Apex Launcher. Greetings.
I had to go back to the original state and it was not very fine ... now I have problems with the wifi at home. Maybe I'll do it from scratch again ... Before doing the Restore, the "Android Keyboard" application started to crash constantly. This Launcher is not quite achieved.
Thanks for your testing, re-flash from scratch from the JVU to make sure the rom works properly.

That I did and incidentally took the opportunity to put version 2.1 of the Tsunami ROM. Impressive, even more so.
I have installed the update to Tsunami 2.1 and with it, I have made a backup of the system, I have installed the TouchWiz and ……. force close the keyboard. I have done a restore again. What a pity…
And I do everything that comes out in the tutorial and before I installed the fireware 2.3.6 and the root of another tutorial, when I gave reboot system now it has started to restart many times it only comes out galaxy s gti9000 samsung and it does not happen : S
I am the same as Alber319, I have done everything according to the tutorial and it remains on my home screen it turns off, and so without stopping, I urgently need help!
