The first Nigthly's of CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1.1) are here

We already have here the first Nightly's of CyanogeMod 10 with 4.1.1 Android Jelly Bean.

As we will all know by now, the Nigthly's by CyanogenMod 10, they are experimental roms that are published in an open way so that any user who understands the Android OS Do your bit and correct errors and operating bugs, the publication period for this rom is practically daily.

The list of Android terminals compatible with these roms is quite extensive, although the following terminals should be noted:

One of the advantages of installing a rom Nigthly by CyanogenMod 10 in our terminal, it is the certainty that we will have constant updates, and above all we can update from one version to another without losing our already installed applications.

Requirements to install these roms

The only requirement to meet is to have a terminal compatible with the Nigthly's rom from CyanogenMod 10 and that this is rooted and have the modified recovery installed.

Also, whenever we are going to flash a new rom, it is a must have the battery fully charged as well as usb debugging activated from the device settings menu.

Installation method of these roms

The installation method of these roms is the same as that of any other rom, first we must download both the zip of the rom and the zip of the Gapps and copy them without decompressing to the sdcard of the device to flash, then reboot in recovery mode and follow the flashing instructions:

• Wipe data factory reset
• Wipe cache partition
• Advanced Wipe dalvik cache
• Go Back
• Install zip from sdcard
• Choose zip from sdcard
• We select the zip of the rom and install it.
• Choose zip from sdcard
• We select the zip of the Gapps and install them.
• Reboot system now.

If what we want do is an update to a new version of a Nigthly's by CyanogenMod 10, we will download the corresponding zip file and once copied to the sdcard of the device to be flashed, we will restart in Recovery Mode and do the following:

1. Wipe cache partition
2. Advanced wipe dalvik cache
3. Go Back
4. Install zip from sdcard
5. choose zip
6. We select the zip of the rom and install it
7. Reboot system now.

In this way, by not making a wipe data factory reset, we will keep all our settings and installed applications.
