I am proud to present and share with you all the first RC of a Jelly Bean rom, Anfroid 4.1.1 for our Samsung Galaxy S, model GT-I9000.(The video belongs to beta 7, but seeing the fluidity of the rom you can get the idea of what the RC10 version that we present today will be like, an authentic past).
The cause of this marvel of rom could not be other than the great cook of HTCmania @elitemovil, an experienced cook who was already the author of some of the best ports of IC's for our device.
One of the things that should be noted about this sensational rom Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S, is that the external memory card is already detected by the PC, thus being fully functional for the transfer of files between the phone and the personal computer and vice versa.

Requirements to install the rom
As I always tell you, it is essential, if you want the performance of the rom to be as expected, do the installation of it in a totally clean way, starting from Stock JVU rom.
It is also advised, in case the flies, make a backup of the EFS folder, although I suppose that is something that we will all have done and stored safely, especially those of us who spend all day fiddling with the phone.
It is very important that the battery of the device to be flashed is at 100 x 100 of its capacity, as well as activate usb debugging from the device settings menu.
Required files
To install this sensational rom from @elitemovil, we will only have to download the zip file of the rom and copy it without decompressing in the root of the sdcard of the device that we are going to flash, then we can turn it off and restart it in Recovery Mode to proceed with the installation of the rom.
Installing the RC10 from @elitemovil
Once entered the recovery mode, we must do the following:
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
- Go Back
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- We select the zip of the rom and confirm its installation.
At this point, our terminal will restart and we will have installed the rom of @elitemovilunless we come from a rom Stock Gingerbread, CM7 or MIUI, in this case, our terminal will remain in a continuous loop on the Boot screen, to solve this, we will enter the Recovery Mode, and we will do the following:
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
- Go Back
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- We select the zip of the rom and confirm its installation.
- Reboot system now
Now if you will have the rom correctly installed on the device, just wait patiently for the first restart, since it will take you a little longer than normal to start up for the first time, be patient that in the end it will start and you can enjoy Android 4.1.1 fully functional in the Samsung Galaxy S, all thanks to the work of independent developers like those of the team of @elitemovil.

This is one of the Roms that consumes the least battery, you should wipe the battery with an application such as Battery calibration:, or from Recovery itself, then do a few complete charge and discharge cycles.

I recommend the Miui V4 Jelly Bean from Muchopoli83, right now it is the best Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S
Has anyone tried this ROM? It goes better than Team Android Jelly Bean V7.1, because I think that some problems that it has (loss of custom playlists, sometimes it does not update the camera photos well) is due to the issue of the external sd problem. If someone has tried the elitemovil RC10 ROM please comment if you have any problems.

Hello everybody. I have installed this ROM since Monday 27/08/2012 at night, I would say rather from Tuesday morning 😉 thanks to the help and advice of the author of this post, Francisco Ruiz. Thanks, again.
Once installed, I restored the EFS folder from a backup I made after reinstalling my Galaxy S to version 2.3.6 with Odin, because the generic IMEI appeared with this ROM.

My opinions:
* The bluetooh is great in my car, something that has never happened before. It downloads the complete contact book for me, the passage from one song to another is very fast with Apollo… GREAT!
* In general the phone is very fast.
* The issue of the drums, I'm watching it, but it's not letting me down at all at the moment; I leave it in quarantine.
* As for the photos and the SD card, indeed the PC recognizes it without problem, but I don't know why, after a reboot I made of the phone, where there were 391 photos in the SD, I had 782 and now I have 1173 after a third reboot. The thumbnail view, you can see that it has duplicated them. When you access to see them in a big way (I mean very redneck, forgive me), one can be seen and the copies that he has made are not seen. Any ideas about it?
* The google + application has stopped working for me today, Wednesday 29/08/2012. I have uninstalled it and will reconfigure it.
Little more, that I will continue to enjoy it.

I keep trying and enjoying this ROM. I have mounted it on two galaxies and it works very well, at least that is what it seems to me.
I have indeed detected that the Apollo playlists lose them. When and why? I do not know. Solution, I downloaded from this link https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7i-peey0VKiRmd2MUZMOUl3SXc/edit?pli=1 Google play music, and so far it is going well.

I recommend that you install the latest Miui rom from muchopoli83 which is based on the elite one, but with many more configuration options and an impressive graphic look.

I installed the elite one first, and when I saw your post about muchpoli83 and the Miui, I installed it. I was playing with it for a while and that orange and white color made me desperate, and I didn't even give myself the option to change the style or anything at all. Total, I reinstalled everything from scratch, and I put the elite one back on. I'm going to blow it up for a few more days and next week or so, when I get the "attack" again, I'll install the Miui.

The bluetooth error I have not tried today, but I imagine it is. Regarding the gallery, I have installed another app from google play, Quickpic, it is going very well. To remove this duplication in the gallery application, although it is a temporary solution, it consists of entering the application manager and deleting the data of that application. From the play list, install google play music. It wouldn't let me install it from google play, so I downloaded the apk from the link in the previous post, and installed it from the outside.
By the way, another thing that doesn't suit me is the remote installation of applications. That is to say, from the pc, I log into google play and have an application installed. It reaches the mobile, starts, but gives an error. Right now you have to look for version 14 of the ROM.

You have to copy it to the internal sdcard of the phone, without putting it inside any folder, and I suppose you will have the Clockworkmod Recovery installed, right?

It is not the first time that I put a rom ... I have already tried a few, some better and others not so much, I have never had "problems" when doing this, but this rom ... already starts badly, it stays in a continuous start loop (in the reboot), with the green android doll and the authorship of Semaphore, if there is no pass, the only viable thing in this situation that I find is to cancel everything and with the odin return it to its normal state (factory) and with the backups, leave it fairly well ... my question is ... did you find that way at first?
That loop on reboot is fixed by rebooting into recovery again and flashing the ROM again.
It is a very common problem, since in a first flash it creates the system partitions and installs the kernel.
