Requirements to install this rom
The requirements to install this rom come to be the tips and concepts that we take when installing any rom, but as it never hurts to remember them here are the security measures to comply:
- Have a Samsung Galaxy S model GT-I9000
- Root and modified recovery
- Battery charged 100 x 100
- USB debugging activated from system settings
- Nandroid Backup from recovery in case things go wrong.
- EFS folder backup.
Files needed to flash the rom
In principle we will need the zip of the rom and the native applications from Google or better known as gapps, although since original rom thread en HTCmania we can find addons y mods to customize the rom to our liking.
Once the necessary files have been downloaded, we will copy them without decompressing directly to the root of the internal sdcard of the Samsung Galaxy S3, then we can restart in Recovery Mode and proceed with flashing the rom.
Rom installation method
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
- Go Back
- Mounts and storage and we format cache, data, datadata and system
- Go back again
- Install zip from sdcard
- choose zip
- We select the zip of the rom and install it
- Reboot system now
Once it restarts we turn off the terminal again and enter the recovery again to proceed with the installation of the Google Gapps.

- choose zip
- We select the zip of the Gapps and confirm its installation
- Reboot system now
With this we will have the fully functional rom in our Samsung Galaxy S, now we will only have to restore our favorite accounts and applications.

It is good from time to time, once or twice a week, to enter the recovery and do a wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache from advanced.

No, just clear the cache memory of the terminal, that if you do not make a mistake and do a wipe data factory reset that if you erase everything

Thanks Francisco. Installed without problems. At first glance it is very attractive, although it does not seem to work as smoothly as it should. You also have to take into account that I have simply been able to make a small contact. With more calm, I'll flash it from a clean installation and give it some use to make a better assessment.

Do not install it. It is only compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 model. as the article says.
I have installed it since 02/03/2013 and I am delighted with it. A doubt Francisco, what is Pie control? and the hidden menu that you comment, where is it? On the other hand, I have downloaded the Adons from the original HTCmania thread, and from what I have read it modifies the contacts application, MMS and some more… is it worth installing it? Thanks!

It may be that the previous one will have the native Google applications inserted, or simply that the rom is more LITE and they have eliminated unnecessary applications.

It is within development options in the main settings menu, if it does not appear you must enter phone information and click seven times on the build number option.

No, remember that we are talking about the galaxy s1 that stayed in Android 2.3.6 for Samsung.
You will not find any rom superior to that version with the native Samsung applications such as the camera or the FM radio.

You wouldn't have any kind of problem, you just need the original firmware from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin.
