Just like Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei and Honor, Oppo is one of the most active companies in the mobile phone industry. This, after having launched the Oppo A9X less than a week ago, now comes loaded with a new device.
The model that now takes center stage on stage is the Oppo K3, a mid-range with a pop-up camera that comes with high sales expectations, as its specifications and features support it in a big way, although not more than its value for money, which is very good. Let's get to know it more thoroughly!
Oppo K3 features and specifications
The first thing we will start detailing this mobile is its screen, which uses OLED technology and consists of a diagonal of 6.5 inches. This, how could it be otherwise, offers a FullHD + resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.
The panel is also held by a few extremely thin top and side marginsAlthough we cannot say the same about the lower one, it is somewhat more pronounced; as a result, we get a 91% screen-to-body ratio. Obviously, as it has a pop-up camera, it does not have any kind of notch. But, as if all this were not enough, it has a 6th generation on-screen fingerprint reader, which is quite fast and accurate, and its scanning area is larger than the conventional ones found in most mobiles.
The processor it equips is one of the most recent famous in the mid-range, which is none other than the Snapdragon 710, an SoC introduced just a few months ago that offers pretty solid and smooth performance. This chipset is capable of running practically any app and game that is put in front of it, and more if it is paired with the capacity of RAM and ROM memory, which reaches 8 GB LPDDR4X and 128 GB, respectively, in its highest edition. There are also two shorter versions, the 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB; all with a 3,765 mAh battery with 3.0-watt VOOC 20 fast charging technology.
As far as the photography department is concerned, the Oppo K3 comes with a dual rear camera, which consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both cameras are equipped with a dual-LED flash, Artificial Intelligence-optimized portrait mode, AI scene detection, Ultra Clear Night View 2.0, Handheld Night Scene Mode, and multi-frame noise reduction technology, while for On the other hand, the pop-up sensor is 16 MP, which has the benefits of AI and Facial Beautification.
The Android 9 Pie operating system with a flavor of ColorOS 6.0 comes preloaded on the device. Oppo's system optimization features are also included in the phone, such as GameBoost 2.0, a gaming feature for accelerated GPU performance in times of high demand for a smoother gaming experience.
FrameBoost is also included to allocate system resources according to the specific resource requirements of the game. On the other hand, LinkBoost 2.0 helps to improve network performance on the smartphone. Lastly, TouchBoost helps improve touchscreen response.
