Whenever these mobiles receive a new firmware version, the improvements they suffer are really remarkable, and this case is not the exception, as have received beneficial optimizations in different sections, as in the one of cameras, connectivity and security.
The OTA, both for the Galaxy S9 and the S9 +, weighs about 380 MB. However, for the first one it comes under the firmware version 'G960FXXU4CSE3', while for the second one under the version 'G965FXXU4CSE3'. Despite this, the improvements and optimizations are the same for the two high-performance mobiles.

At first, the firmware brings the latest security patch, which corresponds to this month of May. This keeps them away from any security threats and up to date, just as Google asks manufacturers to keep their Android devices.
In turn, as we have been talking about, the photographic section of both phones has been improved. This includes Facial Beautification and super slow motion video recording, as well as the camera in general. Therefore, we will be able to notice a better performance in capturing photos, from now on.
Bluetooth connectivity has also been optimized. We do not know as such what improvements are related to this, but it is clear that the stability of the connections is a key point of this. So phone transfer and sync using this feature is likely to be more stable.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that you may not have received the OTA yet, if you are a user of any of these models. This is normal, since, in most cases, it gradually disperses. At the end of the day, the story is the same as always: all devices receive it, whether in a matter of hours, days or a few weeks.
