It's been months since Oppo announced the latest version of your custom Android OS named ColorOS 6. At the moment, the new version of the customization layer is only available in beta form for the Oppo R15 y R15 Dream Mirror Edition.
Many Oppo users wonder why there is no wider release yet. Yesterday, OPPO Vice President Brian Shen, to allay doubts, addressed their concerns in a Weibo post.
According to the company executive, last year's announcement was just a presentation showing what is to come. Added that upgrade plan will be announced later this month, which suggests that the layer would be coming soon to several smartphones of the firm, in which some mid-range and high-end models, not with lower benefits, would be awarded.
The official ColorOS Weibo account joined the conversation and said that optimizations and changes are being made right now. This will take some time, for users will have to be patient.
ColorOS 6 will come with a revamped design that embraces a borderless user interface. The images shared by the successful Chinese company show that the new user interface will adopt a mainly white background, with gradients that also change to white. It will also have several performance features and optimizations, including Oppo Hyper Boost technology. In turn, it is expected to host other functions, many more.
When is the release of ColorOS 6 for Oppo phones forecast? As we said, this would be happening soon. To be more precise, the firm would be carrying it out in the course of this first semester. Therefore, do not despair. When it arrives, it will have been worth the patience.
