The new Motorola Razr 5G has finally been unveiled. This arrives as a folding terminal that is presented as a considerably cheaper alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Fold2, another folding smartphone that was presented just over a month ago and has a set price of about 2.000 euros.
This Motorola mobile aims to fit in with a somewhat less demanding audience, as it has a more modest processor chipset and lower technical specifications, but this has a positive effect on its price, which is about 500 euros cheaper than the one already mentioned for the terminal. the South Korean brand.
Characteristics and technical specifications of the Motorola Razr 5G
The first thing we highlight about this expensive smartphone is its design, which at first glance is a huge distance from the Galaxy Fold2 already mentioned, as well as from the Huawei Mate X, another high-performance mobile that is foldable. Here we have a vertical fold that reminds us of some old models of the brand.
Small, light and compact
The main screen of the mobile, the one inside the fold, consists of a 6.2-inch diagonal and is P-OLED technology. This has a resolution of 876 x 2.142 pixels and a density of 373 dpi, while the secondary one, which is the one shown on the outside, is G-OLED and measures 2.7 inches, in addition to producing a lower resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and boast a pixel density of 370 dpi.
The processor chipset of the Motorola Razr 5G is the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G with support for 5G connectivity and Adreno 620 GPU. This SoC is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage space, to be delivered in a single memory configuration. The battery, for its part, has a 2.800 mAh capacity and is compatible with 15 W fast charge technology; here we would have preferred a battery of at least 4.000 mAh capacity, as the other figure mentioned is somewhat scarce today.
The front camera of the device is 20 MP and has an image aperture of f / 2.2. The rear module is dual and consists of a 48 MP main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture and a ToF 3D trigger.

Other technical features and specifications include the use of a side fingerprint sensor and water resistance (splashes) which uses a coating on all sections of the phone, including its hinge. In addition, the Motorola Razr 5G comes with Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, Android 10 as an operating system with few company customizations, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / a, dimensions of 168.5 x 72.5 x 8mm and a weight of 190 which is quite comfortable in hand.

Price and Availability
The mobile has been announced for Europe, so Spain is ready to receive it soon, as well as the rest of the world sooner rather than later. This does not yet have an exact release date, but we assume that in the next few days or weeks we would be getting to know it for each sector.
The sale price of the Motorola Razr 5G is 1.499 euros for Europe. This could change slightly in some markets and sales platforms, but what is certain is that it will decrease over time, which is something that happens with absolutely all smartphones.
