It connects to the main home router via Ethernet cable, and has the possibility of working completely autonomously thanks to a battery with 16 hours of autonomy and two microSIM card slots, so that if the power goes out, the system will continue to operate without problems.
- Wireless KeyPad keyboard: a numeric keypad to be able to manually activate and deactivate the system.
- Pocket remote Space Control to control the alarm system and wireless alarm button / smart button button It has a panic mode and a mode to control home automation scenarios.

- Smart Plug Socket, with home automation functions such as automations and programs, and that can monitor the energy consumption of the device that we connect to it.
All these accessories, except the Hub 2 base, They have a feature that is essential: 100% wireless. You will not have to look for any plug to fit them, because they all have a battery with a very long duration (several years even) that is also replaceable by the user himself. And you will not have to worry about the connection to the central either, since the “Jeweler” connection achieves a coverage of up to 2000 meters, which is more than enough for any home or business.
Installation and configuration
Ajax recommends users to opt for a professional installation as it avoids false alarms, ensures that all possible penetration routes are covered, and guarantees perfect system operation. In our case it was not necessary since we have experience with other alarm systems and we were able to assemble it ourselves without problems.
The first thing to do is install the Android application (link). When you open the application you can configure the Hub2 base and then add one by one all the accessories you want to install by scanning the QR code which includes each one. In just a few minutes you will have the entire system configured and ready to go.
It is a very simple application to handle, with very intuitive menus and in which you can see all the necessary information without having to navigate through too many menus. It also integrates with the identification system of your smartphone to prevent anyone from accessing it. You will see the battery status of all accessories, the quality of the connection and notifications of all events that the system has detected. Within the settings, the configuration options are endless, being able to set the sensitivity level of the devices, set operating programs, etc.
If we want to add some users to the application it is also possible, to give it. Indefinite or temporary access to our alarm, ideal for when family members or guests come home. Ajax also has reminders to activate or deactivate the alarm when we leave home or get to it, which is great so that it does not jump at dawn when you get home after dinner with friends.
A single payment, no fees
This is the best part of this system: there is no hidden monthly fee. You buy your system, you buy the accessories you want, and that's where the payments end. No fees that vary depending on the number of connected devices, or the functions you want to include.
