El installation process It begins with the download of the rom, then we take the zip (without unzipping) to the memory card. You have to have the USB Debugging option activated and make sure that the battery level is at maximum so that there are no problems during the installation, this can cause problems on the mobile so you always have to check the battery levels.
The rom is installed from Recovery mode, so we turn off the HTC Desire and turn it on by holding down the volume down key and the power key. With the volume down key we navigate to the Recovery option and perform the following steps:
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced / Cache wipe dalvik
- Go Back
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from internal sdcard
- We navigate to the zip of the rom
- Reboot system now

You can install the rom with Rom Manager it is easier and if it works: DDD also for the HTC Desire HD / Inspire HD 😀 I recommend it
