We already have it here, just five days after the official launch of A and Nexus 5, the first fully functional Rom for the LG Optimus G international models.
This Rom is valid for international models E-975, E-976 and E-977, it is fully functional except the NFC what cause some other bug.
Requirements to install this Rom
The first requirement to install this Rom that will update our device to A unofficially, is to have one of the compatible models that I mentioned above, that is, the E-975, E-976 or E-977.
In addition, the terminal must be correctly rooted and with the Modified recovery installed.
The battery should be at 100 × 100 of its capacity as well as the USB debugging enabled from the settings of the LG Optimus G that we are going to update.
It is advisable to have a nandroid backup of the entire system in case something fails or we are not happy with the Rom returning to the immediately previous state.
Required files
The files needed to flash this Rom Android 4.4 KitKat are as follows:
After downloading the four compressed files in ZIP format, the files we will copy without decompressing in the internal memory of the LG Optimus G and we will restart in Recovery Mode to proceed with the flashing method of the Rom
Android 4.4 Kit Kat Rom installation method
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Advanced wipe dalvik cache
- Go Back
- Install zip from sdcard
- choose zip
- We select the kernel and flash it
- choose zip
- We select the Rom and flash it
- choose zip
- We select the Gapps and flash them
- choose zip
- We select the Supersu and confirm its installation
- Reboot system now
With this we will have correctly updated our LG Optimus G a A through a cooked Rom and functional 100 × 100 except for the problems mentioned regarding the NFC, recommended to disable it.

That is because you have lost the Imei, restore the nandroid backup and flash the ROM again.

Hello, I will tell you how my experience with the rom was, I hope it serves something that interests you
To start, after installing the rom, the ignition takes much longer to enter the system (the first time I think it is normal but whenever I restarted it, something good lasted longer than normal or at least what I was used to with the version that it brought the phone.
The camera is left at 8mpx it loses focus, so the photos do not look sharp, when focusing so to speak the flash was turned on every time I made the gesture to focus, the camera tends to look somewhat dark in terms of video recording, record like those phones from before the video was lagging, well it looked a bit slow….
It has a bug when you are in the application drawer and you press menu, you see some icons appear at the bottom that do nothing behind the icons, it is removed by clicking the home button….
the notification led when you put it to charge it looks like a yellowish green…. If the phone is idle, you get a message or some other notification remains red, not checked, remains fixed until you open the notifications.
the nfc does not work as the article says.
the keyboard in some moments had problems, you marked a letter and another one came out or it duplicated the letter (zzzzz, ccccccccc) <- something like that.

I tried doing the same with Cyanogenmod 11 nightly for the e975 on the e977 and with yesterday's nightly (20140105) it looked great. Initially some problems with the WiFi that stabilized after a couple of reboots ... For example CPUz does not detect some sensors, but if you install an apk that uses the sensors, you find that they work wonderfully. Some artifacts on the screen when wanting to put some widgets, but so far nothing serious ... Just a small matter. It had 32Gb of space before bricking it, I couldn't put the Movistar Centroamerica stock rom on it and I had to put a Claro Brazil on it, which is for the same e977, but with this Claro Brazil rom I only had 25Gb of space ... that's why I decided to put one on it custom rom, but the same 25Gb still appears.
