Surely the fact that your Wi-Fi is slow on more than one occasion irritates you. If so, you are part of that 100%, because nobody likes to have a bad connection, and less when they need it for something important ... This, for some, tends to be more annoying even when it is not about the provider, but about the use and the number of devices that are connected to the Wi-Fi network at the moment; the more terminals make use of it, the more saturated and slow it will be, logically.
There are several ways to avoid this inconvenience, and one of the most used and conventional is to disconnect the terminals that are using Wi-Fi at the moment so that the Internet speed goes through the roof. However, doing it manually, device by device, can be somewhat tedious ... For this, there is a simpler solution -among many others-, and it is called netcut, an application for Windows that helps us control Internet use of phones and devices that are connected to the Wi-Fi network.
How to control the Internet speed of the terminals that are connected to Wi-Fi with NetCut
It is easier than it seems to be. Through NetCut, it can be accomplished in just a few minutes. You just have to install the program or application in Windows and carry out the steps detailed below. Before doing so, we explain the operation of this tool, which is very simple and easy to use.
Basically, NetCut monitors active connections to display them on an interface or control panel, which is simple and very easy to understand, even though it is in English. This tool allows you to adjust the Internet speed of each device connected to the Wi-Fi network by means of a horizontal bar that limits the amount of KB or MB per second that they can access.
In this way, if, for example, we set the speed of a certain mobile to 0 KB / s, it will not be able to download or upload data through the network, so it will not have access to the Internet in any way, although it will remain connected to Wi-Fi. -Fi, since NetCut does not disconnect the terminals.

In this interface you can see all the mobiles and devices that are connected to the Wi-Fi network, although without an ID, so you have to find out which one belongs to whom. Even so, this is easy, since, in the case of phones, the brands of these are usually displayed. Therefore, if there are two connected mobiles in your Wi-Fi network, and one is ZTE and the other is Xiaomi, they may be identified under these marks in the section "Brand" that appears in the box for each device. Once identified, they can be renamed.
Now, these are the steps you have to take to control the Internet speed of those who are connected to Wi-Fi:
- Download and install NetCut (4.2 MB) via this link on your computer: downloading the file .exe The application will start automatically.
- Already executed the file .exe and once the installation is finished, the application's shortcut will appear on your computer, which is the one to open.
- Once the NetCut shortcut is open, the browser you use as default will open and the control panel will appear with all your active Wi-Fi connections in a tab.
- Then, based on the identification of each smartphone or device connected to Wi-Fi, you have to adjust the speed that they can enjoy to your liking, in order to avoid slowing the device -or devices- that you mainly use. at that moment. This is easily done using the horizontal bar that appears in the box of each terminal; There it can be adjusted by KB or MB per second at the speed you want for each case.
In this way, even if there are 30 devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, the connection of your mobile or terminal of use will not be slowed down, as long as you have totally or partially reduced the Internet speed considerably to the rest with NetCut.
