Google Home is capable of displaying information to the TV through Chromecast

Google Home Mini-Max

The first company that saw sense in launching a speaker that is always listening to us, it was Amazon in 2014. Since now, it has become the maximum exponent of what this type of product can offer us and today it offers us a large number of models to cover practically all our needs.

A couple of years ago, Google introduced the Google Home, a family of smart speakers that it expanded last year, but which has not been as successful as the Amazon Echos from Jeff Bezos' company. However, Google continues to bet on this type of product, as we have seen in the past CES, and has just launched a new function, which Google I / O announced in the past in which it allows us to display information on our TV connected to the Chromecast.

Almost a year has passed, since Google announced this function, but in the end it has already begun to be available to all users who have any of these models managed by Google Assistant. As we can read in various Reddit threads, we can ask ask the assistant not to show the weather forecast on our TV connected to a Chromecast. Presumably, over time, it also allows us to ask you to show us our calendar, the state of traffic on the route we use to get to work ...

For now, This feature has become available only in the United States, but soon it should begin to be available in the rest of the countries where Google sells the different models of smart speakers that it has on the market. Unfortunately, this function is only available through the speakers, a function that is not and will not be available on smartphones or tablets that integrate the Google Assistant, although it could be an excellent idea.
