In recent weeks, we have published different articles in which we have commented on the state of development of the cameras under screen, being Xiaomi and Oppo, the first that have begun to show its operation, although the quality it offers still needs a lot to improve.
The current market is demanding an all-screen front, and manufacturers are betting on integrate it into the upper frame in the shape of a periscope like the OnePlus 7 Pro or integrate it into the screen like the Galaxy S10. However, we can also find other options such as the one offered by the Galaxy A80, also from Samsung: a rotating camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 was presented three months ago, but at the moment it had not yet reached the market. Now that its launch is imminent, the Asian company has posted on YouTube the first ad where we can see the rotating camera of the A80 in operation, A camera is located at the back of the device but if we slide the terminal, it appears on the front.
This has allowed the company to offer a terminal with an all-screen front where there is no hole to integrate the camera, something that the most skeptical will undoubtedly appreciate, since the screen used falls within the category "New Infinity".
The Galaxy A80 offers us a 6,7-inch panel with Full HD + resolution, it is managed by the Snapdragon 730 and accompanied by 8 GB of RAM in addition to 128 GB of storage internal. On the screen we find the fingerprint sensor, the battery reaches 3.700 mAh and is compatible with fast charging of up to 25w.
In the photographic section, we find a 48 mpx main sensor accompanied by an 8 mpx wide angle and a 5 mpx depth sensor. The camera module rotates 180 degrees allows us to use these three cameras so that our selfies look their best.
