Here we can appreciate, in a indoor photo, as well as the different shades and colors they reproduce faithfully. We effortlessly notice the different textures and you also get a good definition.

We have always liked MIUI's own camera application. Even though visually it is somewhat sober and not very showy, in practice it is very simple to use and effective. We find all the settings we may need and even some extras for the more advanced ones with customizable settings.

One detail to keep in mind is that if we want the camera to bring out its most powerful weapons and the photos obtain the maximum quality we will have to manually select the 48MP option.

For videos we have Time-lapse animation and with slow motion. Both options offer good results. We even have the possibility to carry out panoramic photos or a way to scan documents.

What we cannot stop commenting on is that the camera It has made us a bit slow when processing the photographs. Between one capture and another it seems that the phone needs a few seconds for the sensor to be available again. Something that seems perfectly solve you based on software in future updates.

Powerful battery and autonomy to spare

Here the makers of Poco have once again managed to make the M3 stand out from the rest. The battery of our devices has been almost always the weakest point. It is normal that with so many sensors, large screens, and prolonged use, the autonomy of current devices has stagnated.

Security and connectivity

In this section we have to talk about fingerprint reader. As we mentioned at the beginning, what stands out in the first place is its location. We have tested devices with the fingerprint reader on one side and we have seen how it does not always work. Accuracy and size have a lot to do with here, and we have to recognize that this case has been effective.

As an extra security, the POCO M3 also incorporates the possibility of using the front camera for unlocking through facial recognition. We have also tested some devices that boasted facial unlocking and have been in functionality much further than this has been.

For connectivity we find Bluetooth 5.0. But we have to talk about both great absences; NFC and 5G. It is normal that a device in this price range does not have 5G, but not having NFC limits its possibilities a bit. Also noteworthy is the implementation by Xiaomi of the successful customization layer MIUI in version 12.
