Zopo Speed 8, first impressions with the new Zopo flagship

Within the framework of the Mobile World Congress we had the opportunity to interview Victor Planas, CEO of Zopo Iberia who promised us that their next flagship, the Zopo Speed 8, it could become a before and after in the telephony market.

And after having tested the Zopo Speed 8 at the manufacturer's stand, the truth is that the CEO of a company that has been stepping very hard in Spanish territory was not so misguided thanks to a range of terminals with an unrivaled quality-price ratio. And the new Zopo Speed 8, which will cost only 299 euros when it hits the market, it is a new sample of it.

Zopo Speed 8 (2)

Be careful, on paper it looks great, but the benchmarks show a couple of even better surprises. And we could see that the Zopo Speed 8 scored simply incredible benchmark scores:  1625 points in GeekBench single-core mode and 4128 in multi-core tests. If we take into account that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge reaches 1490 points in the single-core mode and 5158 in the multi-core tests, it is clear the great optimization work carried out by the Zopo team.

And AnTuTu? Well that's where the shots were. While the previous Samsung flagship reaches 83.167 points, the new Zopo flagship remains at a more than remarkable 68.654 points. Let's not launch bells on the fly, that the tested model is a prototype, but taking into account that from Zopo they have confirmed that cit will cost 299 euros, the new Zopo Speed 8 may be the big surprise of the year.

Now we just have to wait for a unit to arrive to be able to carry out a complete analysis of a terminal that will surely reveal, and a lot, to Zopo in our country.
