Google and YouTube are making important design changes both in your mobile and desktop applications. And one of the biggest changes is the new logo for the online video service.
As we can see in the image above, in the new logo the red color where the letters "Tube" of the name were located has disappeared and now the icon is located to the left of the YouTube name. According to Google, this change allows YouTube logo to work betterr "across a variety of devices, even on the smallest screens." But there are still more news.

Along with that renewed logo, Google has also rolled out for all users new design features which until now were only available for testing purposes for a limited number of users. In this way, the desktop app will now have a Material Design based appearance, and will include the option of a dark theme thanks to which the videos will look and be seen better.
La YouTube mobile version It is also receiving new features that were only in the testing phase until now, including a new bottom navigation bar. In addition, videos can now completely fill the screen regardless of whether the video was shot horizontally, vertically or squarely.
And if all this is not enough, users also we can speed up or slow down the playbackn of a video, as can already be done in the desktop version.
But the news does not stop here and it is that Google, at the same time that it launched this update, announced which in a future new version it will add support for quickly switching between videos in such a way that if it slides to the left, we will return to the previous video, and if we slide to the right, we will go to the next one. At the moment we do not know the exact date when this new function will arrive.
