Microsoft's Your Phone app for Windows 10 adds battery indicator and prepares for mobile calls

Microsoft is now adding a battery indicator in the Your Phone app that you can install on Windows 10. This app is also present on Android and allows us to access notifications and more from our phone.

All the comfort in the world and more, when we can make calls from our PC with Windows 10 using our mobile as it is connected to our PC or laptop. In other words, you can leave your mobile on your work table while you manage your day to day with your computer.

Your Phone can now sync notifications from your mobile to the PC, read and respond to SMS from it and view photos on your phone. Soon it will include the possibility of mirroring the phone screen and now Microsoft has added a battery indicator to the app.

IU calls

What can be a trifle detail, has more value because it is the first step to get to call support from the app in Windows 10 and thus use your mobile for it. This new battery indicator is located in the upper corner on the mobile image and indicates the exact percentage when we leave the mouse pointer over it.

Calls your phone

Calls will work in such a way thanks to its space in the sidebar. We click on «calls» and the dialer opens. We can access our mobile contacts by typing one of the letters or using the numeric keypad. When we receive a call, we can see the small floating window with a button to answer and thus expand the window. Y from that window we can "move" the call to our mobile if we wish.

This function is carried out with your PC over Bluetooth so that your PC becomes a Bluetooth terminal. Once the Android app is updated, you will be able to see the list of recent calls and have the same switchboard of your terminal on the desktop of your PC. Sounds good, eh?
