We previously talked about two new devices that would be being released by Xiaomi soon: the CC9 and CC9e. At the time of the leak, in which their main features and specifications were announced, it was said that both have a main rear sensor for 48 MP resolution photos. However, there is speculation around the CC9 that it has a higher resolution one, so it is possible that it is the new Samsung shooter introduced recently.
The new information we bring now states that Xiaomi is working on the smartphone with 64 MP camera. Therefore, more than a possibility, it now seems a fact that the firm will make a terminal with this specification official. Will it be the mobiles mentioned above? Let's go deeper.
The MIUI camera application has been the one that has announced that a Xiaomi mobile -or Redmi, perhaps- with a 64 megapixel sensor is in development, through your lines of code. The image we show below is what was discovered by kackskrz, a member of the XDA-Developers portal team. In it, it can be clearly seen that said resolution is mentioned, which is the one that would correspond to the main lens of the rear configuration of the terminal.

Codes were also found stating that the capturer will be coupled to a dual camera system and that it carries "Ultra-Pixel" technology.
Samsung's 64 MP sensor is called ISOCELL Bright GW1. It boasts a pixel size of just 0.8 microns and 4-in-1 Tetracell technology. In turn, it is trained with algorithms that make it possible to capture more light than any trigger available for mobile phones currently, in theory, so it is clear that we are facing the next king of sensors for the smart market, once it debuts, of course .
It remains to be seen if the sensor will be the one that will star in the rear photographic module of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 or another model of the brand, or if it will be present in a Redmi device. For now, it seems that the first mentioned will be the most conducive to hosting the sensor. However, we should not get ahead of ourselves.
