The firm maintains the first place, although very followed by Samsung which is in a creditable second place. As expected, Huawei is still in free fall due to the problems it has with the United States. But there are a few surprises to highlight.
Canalys confirms OPPO's meteoric rise
As you can see in the image that heads these lines, Xiaomi has managed to maintain the first position as the manufacturer that sells the most mobile phones in Spain. Highlight its growth of 16 percent, making clear the good work of the manufacturer. In second place we have Samsung, which with an annual growth of six percent maintains its silver medal.
Curiously Apple has been one of the great beneficiaries after the fall of Huawei. No, it is not that the manufacturer sells more in our country, on the contrary, since the graph shows a drop in sales of 11 percent, but it has moved to third place. Then we have Huawei, with a 47 percent drop in sales caused by US government vetoes.
We will see if the arrival of Joe Biden changes things a bit, although at the moment it does not look good at all. But the big surprise has been the growth of OPPO, which increases its sales volume by 197 percent, making it clear that this manufacturer is going to fight.
The Asian firm has arrived in Spain like a storm, offering a catalog of mobile phones with a value for money that is shaking the empire of its great rival Xiaomi. And beware, surely the next Canalys analysis will include a new signature: realme.
