El Xiaomi Mi 9 is scheduled to become official next Wednesday. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun and President Lin Bin have been revealing a lot of official information about the key features of the Mi 9 since the last few days.

As you can see in the image below, the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be powered by the mobile platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7 nm, as has been well said from the beginning. The second mentioned feature is the triple camera setup of the 48 megapixel wide angle Sony sensor enabled camera placed on a 3D surface glass.

As the company has already confirmed, the FullHD+ resolution supported by the Mi 9's waterdrop-style display will offer an impressive 90.7% screen-to-body ratio.
The leaked shot also shows that the Mi 9 is equipped with support for fast 20 watt wireless charging certified by Germany Rhine TUV. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which was introduced last year, only supports 15W wireless charging. The phone also appears to be sporting a very thin chin. In fact, with a thickness of only 3,6 mm, the Mi 9 sports the slimmest chin ever seen on a smartphone.
It is also rumored that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition with quad rear cameras will also be presented together with the Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone on February 20. The Explorer Edition can include 10GB or 12GB of RAM. It is speculated that the Mi 9 may have a price tag of 3,499 yuan (~ 456 euros) and the Mi 9 Explorer Edition can be priced at 5,999 yuan (~ 782 euros).
