Google Pay adds three new banks in Spain as well as in other countries

Google Pay

Google Pay is Google's electronic payment platform, a platform that has gone by different names (Google Wallet and Android Pay) until it was renamed that way. The name change was aimed at making the service known to all Android smartphone users, which they did not know it when using the name Android Pay.

Now that the search giant has found the definitive name (at least for now), the number of banks and credit institutions that are joining this platform is increasing every year. As regards users resident in Spain, Google Pay has added support for three new banks.

We are talking about Banco Pichincha, a bank oriented to the Ecuadorian and Latin American client, Pinbank and Boon. In this way, today there are already 15 Spanish banks that are compatible with Google Pay. But Spain is not the only country where the number of banks compatible with this technology has increased, although if he is the only Spanish-speaking one.

Italy, Canada, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, Brazil, Australia and Russia are other countries that have seen how Google has reached an agreement to be able to offer the NFC technology of smartphones to be able to make day-to-day purchases without having to go everywhere with the wallet.

As usual, not all cards offered by banks are compatible with Google Pay, so you should ask your bank if you see that you have problems when linking Google Pay with your credit or debit card, so do not get too excited if you have seen how your bank is already compatible with this Google service .

If you still don't know what Google Pay is and you want to know in great detail what Google Pay is and what it is for, in Androidsis We published a few weeks ago and where We explain everything you need to know.
