El Xiaomi Poco F2 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2019. The Xiaomi Poco F1 is currently available as the most affordable Snapdragon 845 phone on the market. Therefore, it is expected that the Xiaomi Poco F2 is launched as the high-end with Snapdragon 855 cheapest of all.
Xiaomi could be internally testing the next Poco F2as a Geekbench listing of the device has appeared online. Its release date would not be set very far.
Geekbench listing of the Xiaomi Poco F2
A smartphone, labeled "Poco F2," has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. As expected, the Snapdragon 855 is present under the hood of the device. The SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and is loaded with the upcoming Android Q operating system, as can be clearly seen.
In the single-core test, the Xiaomi Poco F2 scored 1,776 points. In the multi-core test, the device has registered a score of 6,097 points.
The recent benchmark lists of SD855 phones have scored more than 3 points in single-core tests and around 10 in multi-core tests. Therefore, Geekbench's Poco F2 scores are quite low, compared to other phones powered by the same Qualcomm processor.
What is a bit strange about the list is that the Poco F2 has appeared with 4 GB of RAM on board, while the Xiaomi Poco F1 was launched with 6/8 GB of RAM. This is something that can be confusing. Could it be, rather, a Lite version? It is unlikely, since the name at the top of the list is clear. However, we do not rule out the possibility. Everything is waiting.
