It seems that finally WhatsApp deletes the backup of the cats what could be done, until now, with Google Drive. This allowed us to store a copy in the cloud in case one day we changed our mobile or in case a similar situation arose. Although the news was recently, about a month ago, WhatsApp, at least in version 3.0.0 will not bring these backups again, according to rumors.
And it is that what appear to be screenshots of the next big WhatsApp update have been leaked: version 3.0.0. We are currently in version 2.12.73 so I see it unlikely that this update will arrive anytime soon, although now with Facebook in charge, it is possible that in a few months it will already be here.
In the catches We can see how it is clearly seen that this update will not come with the backup copies in Google Drive that we presented to you a month ago.. We do not know what has led WhatsApp to make this decision. We do not therefore know if it was because the relationship with Google is narrowing or if it was due to another decision.
It has not worked for me personally for weeks. They worked for me the first day they came out, I tried them, talked about them and made a review. But a few weeks after this they didn't work for me anymore. I formatted my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and they disappeared, and with them all the conversations, which is what makes me the most funny about the whole thing.
Nowadays a system by which to save backups in the cloud is essential. And we do not know how WhatsApp has not included it yet, when it has been necessary for years, that is, since WhatsApp became almost necessary. Hopefully in future versions we will see these backups again and that they work, and not only in the versions beta, but in all.
