Xiaomi and Qualcomm design a new version of the Snapdragon 810

The flagship processor of Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 810, has been a real headache for the American manufacturer. Its overheating problems have led large manufacturers, such as LG, to opt for a lower, but more stable SoC. Not to mention Samsung which has chosen to use its own Exynos solutions to make its new generation of flagships beat.

In any case, there has been a group of terminals that have come with the Snapdragon 810 SoC. Although it seems that Qualcomm has reviewed its processor and the new version, called Snapdragon 810 v2.1 , is much more stable than the previous ones, in addition to offering scores in terms of benchmarks that literally sweep away its competitors.

And it is that this new Snapdragon 810 v 2.1 offers an impressive performance: 63.424 points according to AnTuTu. Considering that its most direct competitors with a conventional Snapdragon 810 processor, such as the HTC One M9 or the LG G Flex 2, which have reached 57.648 and 56.266 points respectively, it is clear that Qualcomm's work is remarkable.

The San Diego-based manufacturer continues to have work ahead if it intends to overtake its new great rival, Samsung and its powerful Exynos 7420, a powerful processor that makes the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge beat 68.922 points,  being ahead of this new version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.

In addition, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Fu, has boasted of his engineers, since 20 of them were sent to qualcomm headquarters to develop the new version of the Snapdragon 810. Proof of this is that the My Note Pro maintains an operating temperature of just 36.3 degrees centigrade within 20 minutes of starting a game, a fact that makes one thing very clear: the new version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor no longer suffers from overheating.
