If it last to arrive were the temporary messages en WhatsApp, now tests are being carried out with new functions for the Wallpaper, mute video and a feature known as "read later."
It is true that lately WhatsApp is putting the batteries and we hardly have time to thoroughly test their latest innovations, which makes it clear that the experience is taking more fortitude.
Like that new storage management feature, and we did not think it was going to arrive, now WhatsApp tests some new features for the wallpaper that we have in the background in the chats. We will soon be able to assign a different wallpaper to each chat individually, edit opacity, choose between 32 light or 32 dark, customize it and even use solid colors.
That is, we will have enough options so that with a personalized wallpaper we are able to visually distinguish who we chat with. We will even be given the option to use WhatsApp Doodle from the solid color options.
We also have that new option to mute videos before sending to a contact, and the option to "read later" which is an extension of the new "vacation mode", and which is yet to come. The goal of this new feature is to keep archived chats separate from the main chat screen and keep them right there even when new messages arrive.
We will not receive notifications of the messages, so we can assign several chats to "vacation mode" and while we are on the weekend or on vacation, let no one from work bother us. We will even be allowed to configure when we want new messages to return to the main chat list.
A host of new features that are still on the beta channel of WhatsApp and that show us the horizon to follow when we want to use that vacation mode without anyone bothering us.
