When we make the purchase of a product through Wallapop, We make the payment of 3 concepts:
- Article. Price of the item we have purchased.
- Shipping. The price of shipping, price that may vary depending on the measures of the package.
- Administration fees. This is the Wallapop sales commission, sales commission, and with which it assures us that, if the product received is not as described, they will refund our money.
Once we have received the product, we have 48 hours to analyze the product and verify that everything works perfectly and that it is according to the description of the product that we have purchased.
When we receive the product, in the Wallapop chat of the product, we will receive a notification informing us that we have received the package and that we have 48 hours to check its operation together with a link where we must click if the product does not meet our needs.
Through that link, we must select the reason why we consider that the product does not meet our needs, describe the reasons and attach, if applicable, up to 4 images.
Once, we have opened the case, both Wallapop and the seller will receive the message and images of the product. The seller has 7 days to respond. If you do not, the platform will analyze the case and return the money to us once we have returned the product to the seller.
How to know if a seller is reliable
Wallapop, just like any other platform, works based on a rating system. Every time someone buys or sells an item, buyers and sellers have to assess the experience of both the product and the deal they've had.
Over time, reviews are the best method to be able to trust, or not, a seller. But nevertheless, Sometimes it is not always like that.
Some users create accounts to inflate them with positive reviews by making legitimate sales or with your friends' accounts to later start selling counterfeit items.

How to send a package by Wallapop
Once we have sold an item through Wallapop, we will receive a notification informing us that the product has been paid for. At that moment, in the WhatsApp conversation with the buyer, we will receive a link to a barcode, barcode that we must show at the post office from which we are going to make the shipment.
We don't have to pay anything, the buyer is the one who is responsible for the shipping costs. Once the package has been received by the buyer, we will receive a notification and we will have to wait a maximum of 48 hours for the conformity of the product and Wallapop enters the money in our wallet.
How to return a package by Wallapop
When returning a package of a product that does not meet our needs, we will receive through the seller's chat, a link to a barcode, barcode that we must show at Correos to return it.
You do not have to pay anything to return the productJust wrap it properly and go to a post office. Once we have returned it, we will receive a new message in the Wallapop conversation, with the tracking number to check where the package is.
When the seller receives it, we will receive a confirmation through the conversation with the seller. We have a maximum of 10 calendar days to proceed to pack and return the product back to the seller.
If we miss the deadline, we imply we are satisfied with the product and Wallapop will proceed to send the money to the seller.
What is Wallapop wallet
The Wallapop wallet is where the company enter the money from the sales we make through the platform. From the application, we can send the money to our account through a bank transfer or we can keep it to pay for future purchases.
In order to send the money to our account, we must enter the full name of the current account owner, along with the 20 account numbers. If the account holder does not match the account name we have added, the company will not transfer the money.
This money, we can also use it to pay for any type of purchase what we do.
For collect or pay through the Wallapop wallet When we have physically met the person, we access the Wallet menu and select the option we want: Charge or Pay.
Then the app will invite us to select the person we want to send the money to through this platform.
