Ubuntu Lockscreen, the authentic Ubuntu Touch unlocking application for your Android

Ubuntu Lockscreen, the authentic Ubuntu Touch unlocking application for your Android

Ubuntu Touch is a mobile operating system developed by Canonical and officially presented a few months ago, an operating system that promised to be installed on many Android devices although in practice its development is still a little too slow.

In today's article I recommend an application called ubuntu lock screen, an application designed to simulate in any Android the screen of lock / unlock, including its notifications and security systems, of the operating system of Canonical for Smartphones and Tablets.

Ubuntu Lockscreen Key Features

The main feature offered by this totally free app is the similarity with the original application designed for Ubuntu Touch, some very elaborate graphics and some own adjustments of which we can highlight the following options:

  • Available in 13 languages.
  • Notification system fully adjustable by the user.
  • Accessibility Features.
  • Security system by PIN or Password.
  • Easy access to music player controls.
  • Spectacular Clock Widget.

How do I install Ubuntu Lockscreen?

To install ubuntu lock screen we will only need a terminal Android that is rolling version 2.1 or higher, with which this application is valid for any terminal on the current market.

To install ubuntu lock screen We have two options, the first one downloading it directly from the Play Store, or the second by downloading the apk directly from the XDA forum, copying it to the device and accessing it from any File Browser run the apk.

If we opt for the second option, I remind you that you must have the permissions to install activated apps from unknown sources from the terminal settings, if you did not have them enabled before running the apk, the system itself will ask you if you want to enable them and will give you the option to access the configuration.

In a future article I will explain how to convert our Android en Ubuntu Touch, using several free applications that will give us an appearance very similar to that of the operating system of Canonical for mobiles.

Lie! In October the first stable version of Ubuntu Touch comes out, but today you can install it by replacing your android on Nexus 4 phones and first generation Nexus 7 tablets (I have it on mine) and it is already quite functional.

    2.019 December, day 22 ...

Ubuntu Touch is alive and with updates, although Canonical did not follow, if UBPORTS did ...

Currently it can be installed in more mobile phone terminals.

The store's basic programs are still few, but if you are looking for güasap, it doesn't have it yet, if you have a webapp version.

There is TELEGRAM in the store.

I comment on this point because it seems that if you do not have this type of program, automatically interested people lose interest.

If you are looking for a secure mobile operating system, this is it, hands down.

Search the internet like this: «UBPORTS».
