Elephone is one of the many Chinese companies that manufacture smart mobile phones that seek to differentiate themselves from their competitors. We have already seen several terminals from this manufacturer in Androidsis that have caught our attention, but to date we have seen how the company based in China manufactured only low and mid-range devices.
However, the company has wanted to take a quality leap in its future terminals and yes, the Elephone P7000 and P8000 are two terminals with great features and made of metal, it has served the company to be a preliminary step to manufacture a device high-end.
We have already talked about this new device on the blog thanks to the information that came to us a couple of weeks ago. The Elephone M2 will be the most premium terminal manufactured by this Chinese manufacturer. If we look at some of its images, we see how the terminal is made of metal, although not completely, but the appearance is that it is so.
It is a compact device and with the side bezels on the front very thin, so it gives the feeling that the front of the device is completely screen. However, you have to take that screen sensation with tweezers since the device is not turned on and we cannot see the screen frames or black bars that are on the sides, as happens in the Elephone P700 and P800.
Elephone M2
The information we have about the hardware of this new Chinese terminal are as follows. The Elephone M2 will be great as it will feature a 5,5 inch with 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Inside, MediaTek will be in charge of equipping the device under its eight-core SoC, the MT675. Elephone has not given more information about its RAM memory, so we will have to wait a while to discover it.
What we do know is its photographic section, its main camera located at the back will be 13 Megapixels and the 5 MP front camera. The device shall incorporate a fingerprint sensor on the home button physical located on the front, a bit strange considering that Elephone normally places its fingerprint scanner on the back of its terminals.
This new terminal will be to date the top-of-the-range device of this China-based brand due to its specifications, as well as the construction material, although it is far from being a premium terminal as expected in the first rumors. Elephone has not given more information regarding its price and availability, so we will have to wait a little longer to discover more about this Chinese terminal.
