The Nexus 5X does not include a cable to connect it to the computer

After many rumors and leaks, the new Google smartphones were unveiled on September 29, in San Francisco. For the first time in the history of the Nexus, the guys from Mountain View presented two Nexus terminals under different manufacturers. The Nexus 5X is manufactured by LG and is the most affordable terminal and the Nexus 6P is the terminal manufactured by Huawei, this being the most expensive, the best built and the most powerful in the history of the Nexus.

Both terminals have caused much criticism from users, especially in Spain and Europe. This is because the starting price of both terminals increases by € 100 with respect to the American price because of the euro / dollar exchange rate. Many expected these terminals as chosen to be their new terminal, but the price and specifications, what eye, are very good, but for a lower price we find better alternatives, they make the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P the most Google terminals criticized to date.

Well, if the price of the terminal was one of the reasons for the anger of many users towards Google, now there is another reason to continue criticizing the new Nexus, specifically the Nexus 5X. It turns out that this new LG terminal, does not include the cable to connect it to the computer Or what is the same, the guys from Mountain View have not included the USB-C to USB-A cable.

Nexus 5X without cable to connect to computer

To date, we connect our smartphone with a USB cable to the computer and, in this way, we can transfer photos, videos, documents from the smartphone to the PC and vice versa. Well, if we buy the new Nexus 5X, we will realize that there is no possibility of transferring files between the two devices. Then, how do we do it ?

Well there are several options, the first of which is to buy the USB-C to USB-A cable directly from the Google Store, yes, you will have to pay 14,99 €. Another option is to look for a cable of this type from another manufacturer, this may be cheaper than the one for sale in the Google store. And another option that occurs to me is to use applications like AirDroid o AirMore to pass our data to our computer.

Without a doubt, these Nexus are giving a lot to talk about. They are surely great terminals since they have great features, especially in Huawei's smartphone, the Nexus 6P and, best of all, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is designed for Nexus devices, so the OS is optimized for said terminal. But its price increase compared to other prices of the competition will make this Nexus not sell as much as Google thought. And, if you want to buy the new Nexus 5X and the cable to connect it to the computer, USB-C to USB-A, we are talking about what the price goes up to € 500, a very high price for the benefits that Google's current five-inch terminal has.
