According to Optrontech, a manufacturer of camera component parts has supplied Samsung the lenses needed for a 5x optical zoom. Acto and Samsung Electro-Mechanics are in charge of assembling the final module components for the S20 series.
This news is especially striking as many had been the related rumors about the capabilities of the camera of the next Samsung flagship and that pointed out that it offered a 10x optical zoom. But it seems that the entire S20 range will offer 5x zoom, including the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the highest model in the range.
The Elec media, points in the same direction in its latest report related to the Galaxy S2o, so we could almost officially confirm that the Galaxy S20 will include a 5x zoom, zoom that will be available in the three versions that the company plans to launch: S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra.
