The company will unveil the new phablet under the name Mate S during the last major fair of the year. We have seen some leaks about this device that gave us a clue as to what the device could be like in its physical appearance. If everything points to the latest information about the hardware of the device, we would be talking about a terminal that would have a 5,7-inch screen under a high definition resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). In addition, this screen would have the new Force Touch technology, which Apple implemented in its smart watch, Apple Watch, and that those of Cupertino will implement in their new iPhone 6S that will be presented on September 9. Anyway, Huawei is ahead of Apple and will present during the IFA in Berlin, the first smartphone with Force Touch with Android and other platforms. This screen will have a small 2.5 D curvature to protect it from bumps and scratches.
Continuing with the specifications, we find an eight-core SoC manufactured by Huawei, the Kirin 935 with 3 GB of RAM memory.The device will have fingerprint sensora 20 megapixel main camera located on the back of the device and an 8 MP front camera for making video calls and famous selfies. The material used to manufacture this phablet will be metal, so its price will increase.
The Huawei Mate S will be presented during the presentation on September 2, as Huawei has scheduled its press conference. Also in this presentation, the Chinese manufacturer could present some other novelty regarding smartwatches, so we will be attentive to what may happen.
