Swiftkey updates with Gboard's slider control

SwiftKey slider

Nothing happens to take that so accurate Gboard experience for cursor control from space key on SwiftKey. And it is precisely the great novelty of this keyboard app owned by Microsoft.

We can almost say that SwiftKey has finally taken another exceptional function from another keyboard to take it to yours. And this time there is no excuse with that control of the cursor through gestures and that allows us to take it to the desired space in the word line; and the truth is that sometimes it is a bit irritating with the previous method.

It is in the last beta where it can already be used that slider with our finger from any space from the same keyboard. That is, we make a long press and we can move the cursor with our finger by sliding it over the entire keyboard.

The difference between the Gboard experience and that of SwiftKey is that in the second we can move the cursor slider from anywhere, while in the Google app we can only move it around of the space bar.

The other difference is that in SwiftKey we must do a long press on the space bar to activate this function, while in Gboard with a swipe gesture it is activated. The reason for this is that this way we don't interfere with SwiftKey's language selection with a gesture.

You have this available new slider experience from the SwiftKey Beta app, although also downloading the APK that below we serve you so that you can try it.

A move towards SwiftKey User Experience Improvement And for sure many of us will be grateful, since at certain times moving the courses through the line is quite complicated and can get irritating while we copy, paste or whatever. As always you we leave some alternatives to this keyboard.
