Music streaming services, like video services, have entered our lives and many are the users who can no longer live without them, so most of us, when any of these services experience a rise in prices, we assume it without further ado.

The latest streaming service provider that has raised the price of any of its subscriptions is Spotify. Since February, hiring the family plan has risen one euro, so hiring it from now on it costs 15,99 euros, for the previous 14,99.

If you are already users of the family plan, Spotify gives you a month of grace, so until March you will not have to pay the new fee. For now, the rest of the subscription plans offered by the Swedish company they keep the same price.

Changes are coming

A few months ago, Spotify announced that the prices of your streaming service would probably increase, to try to offset the latest investments that the company has done in the last two years and thus be able to begin, once and for all, to obtain positive results.

In some northern European countries, the Spotify fee is 10,99 euros, for the 9,99 euros in Spain, for more than a year, so now that they have taken the first step by raising the family subscription plan, it is likely that they will not take much longer to increase the price of the subscription individual.

Spotify has the upper hand

For a few months, Spotify has not allowed third-party platforms to access its API to export the lists that users have been created in this service, so if you want to change streaming music services, you will have to recreate your personalized lists, one by one.
