iBall, a company with little recognition in the global gadget market, has launched the iBall Imprint 4G, your new tablet that comes with an unorthodox design, but with some interesting specifications.
Among the most striking features of this device, we found an integrated fingerprint scanner certified by Aadhaar, positioned below the panel. In addition, it is STQC certified and can be used for Aadhaar verification, the Indian identification system, at Aadhaar centers across the country. Despite this, the iBall Imprint 4G is not equipped with a conventional fingerprint scanner, which is why we will not be able to unlock it using this option.
The iBall Imprint 4G features a 7-inch diagonal HD IPS LCD screen with a screen resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels.. It is powered by a 53GHz Cortex-A1.3 quad-core processor paired with 1 or 2GB of RAM and 8 or 16GB of internal storage space thanks to the fact that it is available in two different variants. Supports memory expansion via microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.
Regarding the photographic section, the tablet comes with a 5 megapixel main rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. On the front, there is also a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash.
Run Android 7.0 Nougat as the operating system, and is kept powered by a 5.000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, GPS / AGPS, a micro-HDMI port, a microUSB port, a USB 2.0 port, FM radio, and a 3mm Jack headphone jack.
This terminal has support for 22 regional languages and also has a STQC certified iris scanner. In addition to this, the company also claims that the iBall Imprint 4G has been designed to simplify the ease of use and portability of Aadhaar authentication for establishments such as banks, government offices, educational institutions, sales automation and B2B.
Price and Availability
This tablet was launched in India and it is already available for sale for 18.999 rupees in its 2 / 16GB version, a price that is the equivalent of about 240 euros to change. The 1 / 8GB variant, which also does not have an integrated fingerprint reader, costs Rs 11.999 (approx 150 euros). It only comes in black.
