After the official launch yesterday of version 4.3 of the Android operating system, the related news with the same.
Sony has confirmed in a brief press release which of your devices will be updated to that version shortly.
In the press release he talks about his software update roadmap and begins by informing us that the Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z tablets will receive an update to version 4.2 in early August.

He then informs us of the devices that will receive version 4.3 without specifying dates. Namely:
- Xperia Z
- Xperia ZL
- Xperia ZR
- Tablet Xperia Z
- Xperia SP
- Xperia Z Ultra
As we can see, their most recent devices are, although perhaps we could miss someone else. However, they comment that they are studying the possibility of update other devices currently running version 4.1.
Hopefully among those are some of their devices of the year 2012 and that its users are not forgotten, since it also takes the opportunity to thank them for their collaboration for the feedback received for update to version 4.1.

In my opinion Sony has taken a turn towards users and now treats us much better, especially hobbyists.
Its press release shows that at least they are studying the possibility of updating those terminals with version 4.1, which shows concern, something that not all manufacturers can say.
For me, they will soon give us the odd surprise.
Do not forget the Xperia P, I do not expect a 4.3 but if they should improve the official version 4.2 that has several bugs.
I hope they at least update the latest Xperia's from 2012, I have an Xperia V and it's a beast, the best I could buy.
