Sony launches beta in which it adds support for Android Auto, with which we can listen to our music in the car as we would with Spotify or Google Play Music.
Being a beta, everyone knows that it may be unstable and it is not fully translated into Spanish. Therefore, we ask for your patience as this update could be officially released in a matter of weeks without any problem regarding stability and languages.
This new Sony Music feature will appeal to all Android Auto users
In previous versions, the ability to listen to songs stored in the Google Drive cloud was added, but this version, which is in beta phase, now has we can control the reproduction and see the respective album cover that we have stored as we could usually do it with Spotify or Google Play Music.
However, there is a mobile version, but this version is only for Android Auto.
As we can see in these images, both interfaces are similar, except for the color to reproduce that adapts to the color of the app and the button that lets us access repeat mode or shuffle mode, which in the Sony Music app for Android Auto we still can't see being a beta versionWe hope that when it is officially launched that option will be visible.
The list of changes is as follows:
Version 9.3.10.A.1.1 (beta)
- Android Auto support
- Resizable widget
- Cover of the songs
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
This beta still not published in the Play Store and it is only accessible to the beta testers of the application through the Google+ group, most likely, when you look for it in the Play Store, it will tell you that it is not available yet.
No problem, this beta version is available en APKMirror, which you can download without problems to try it or if you prefer, you can download the stable version directly from the Play Store and wait for this beta version to be officially released.
