The Galaxy Note FE could reach more countries after its success in South Korea

Samsung is definitely having a fantastic 2017, and we're still halfway there. Last Friday the smartphone went on sale Galaxy Note FE or "Fan Edition"In other words, that Galaxy Note 7 that last year had to be withdrawn and that now, duly restored and with some modifications, is available in the company's home country with a considerable price reduction.

The company put up for sale around 400.000 units of this terminal in South Korea and apparently they “fly” off the shelves from stores where it was available. So much so that it is estimated that the Galaxy Note FE has increased daily device activations by 60 percent since its launch.

Apparently, thousands of South Korean users have shown their interest in getting a Galaxy Note FE that is available at an equivalent price of 610 dollars (20 percent cheaper than in its original launch last year), with the Black Onyx and Blue Coral models of the refurbished Note 7 being the most popular among shoppers as, in fact, they would have been sold out in some stores.

Samsung has chosen to market this Galaxy Note FE as a "limited edition", that is, as an opportunity for true fans of the Galaxy Note series to get a unit of this phone that is already historical within the mobile phone industry. Hence its name, "Fan Edition", and hence an employee of the company has declared to The Investor that, once the units put on sale in South Korea are sold out, they will not be answers.

And while the company creates an artificial shortage of the terminal (ironic after its withdrawal from the market for security reasons) someone who would have knowledge of Samsung's plans has told The Investor that The Galaxy Note FE could be launched globally later this month. And although it is not known which countries it will reach, it is quite certain that it will be limited to a few markets.

Will you buy the Galaxy Note FE if Samsung launches it in your country?
