Sony continues with surprises, Xperia Z5 Ultra for next year

At the IFA fair held in Berlin we had the great surprise of accessing the three new Sony devices within the Xperia Z5 series. These are the Xperia Z5 itself, Xperia Z5 compact and Xperia Z5 premium. Three terminals that they follow what is seen in the high-end from other manufacturers such as LG and Samsung but that their previous generations have had a great acceptance, especially because of that great battery that gave their users phones such as the Xperia Z3 and Z3 compact.

If it seemed that everything was already said about Sony's high-end phones, today the rumor has arrived about an Xperia Z5 Ultra that would reach the windows of the stores of the malls by next year. So if you have surprised us all with that Xperia Z5 premium that has a screen with 4K resolution, now we could even see a device that had a screen bigger than those 5,5 inches to even get to 6,44.

Surely, to reach those dimensions, Sony must have done something to make better use of the front space of the device to occupy the majority of the screen, and so the user don't have the feeling of carrying a small brick in the trouser pocket. Let the word Ultra here if it takes a great consonance.

Nor will anything happen if the Japanese manufacturer wants to extend its high-end repertoire with this Z5 ultra that is added to the Z5 itself, Z5 compact and Z5 premium. Three telephones that pass from the € 599 for the Z5 compact, € 699 for the Xperia Z5 and € 799 for the premium version of it, so surely we will find the Z5 Ultra for these issues, something that does not surprise us either since those 6,44 inches have theirs.

That 6,44-inch screen is exactly the one with the original Z Ultra in 2013 and what the rest of the components would be is yet to be known. If we take a look at what the premium Z5 offers, we may see that 4K resolution and a 23MP camera like the rest of the devices. A large 4000 mAh battery and a chip that we do have to wait for due to the appearance of the new Snapdragon that could be part of this Z5 Ultra edition.

With that Snapdragon 820 around those dates, which would be precisely in March 2016, we could access a device with a quality hardware. Little more can we say about supposed specifications of what has been said so far and what is known from other sites, the only thing to see how Sony is taking it seriously with Android as it is one of the example manufacturers in what are the updates to the meet today like a phone like the Xperia Z, launched two and a half years ago, it has received Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
