Another game from the Sonic saga comes to Android remembering old times and adding another classic more to the windows of the Google store to spend this Christmas yearning for important moments when we controlled a speedy hedgehog that roamed through dozens of levels back in 1993.
Twenty years later, we can seeForget to have fun with the adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in our brand new 5-inch Android terminals as it is already available in the Google Play Store.
Sonic 2 was one of the best games in those years, adding more levels and improving the original game with unique elements such as the powerful attack "Spin Dash" and a second character to accompany our protagonist.
The basic structure of the original game is preserved in this mobile version, including the final bosses, the fantastic music, and of course, the levels at a blazing speed.
The Android version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 comes from the hand of Christian Whitehead, who has led did an excellent job of porting Sonic CD and the original Sonic to Android. This remastered version of the game includes better graphics and audio on par with the quality that our smartphones and tablets currently treasure, a new attack mode, another one of one player against another, achievements and leaderboards through Google Play Games and a playable Knuckles.
Players will have access to the secret phase of the palace area, a new level that was finally removed from Sonic 2. Best of all, you can now find a save option in the new menu, which should help a lot when you accidentally quit the game by pausing it.
